Update 1:45 p.m. Tuesday: Thai police said they arrested a 46-year-old woman Tuesday who they said had been using rope to hang herself in a hospital parking lot, cutting it when authorities arrived to talk to her.

Police said they found the woman with a seven-foot rope when they arrived to the hospital parking lot of Thammasat University Hospital in Bangkok to talk to her.

Hospital staff were trying to coax her into a police van, but the woman said “I’m done, I’m ready to die,” police said.

Update: Authorities in Thailand found a man and woman that had been hanging around a hospital parking lot, according to Wanna Suittiamvong, who lives in the neighborhood where the pair were spotted.

The woman had hung herself with a rope from a tree at a hospital, Wanna told the New York Post, adding that the couple had been arguing and that the man looked dazed.

“They were not acting funny,” Wanna said. “Their faces were not happy — I tried to tell them to wake up, but they were serious.”

The woman said, “They’ll bring me back!” when the police arrived, Wanna added.

Metro-North Railway reported a train stopped at Grand Central Station in New York Monday, as a commuter saw a car with the roof completely caved in and a woman hanging from a tree. The woman was found unresponsive and needed to be rescued. She was hospitalized in serious condition.

Her identity has not been made public.

Last week, eight members of a local Thai dancing troupe were found dead in a twisted heap, trapped in a garbage truck that had become partially submerged, wrapped in a plastic garbage bag and covered in mattresses. A medical examiner determined that eight members of the troupe were hanging from the truck in a freak accident when the driver lost control of the van, police said.

Original Post 9:30 a.m. Tuesday: A creepy sight greeted commuters at the Met Life Bowl in East Rutherford, New Jersey Monday morning, as three women were seen sitting atop a trash truck, cinched tight against a tree, as if in a power struggle.

The sight stunned, bewildered and eventually frightened both the women and onlookers who grew concerned that they were being held captive at 9 a.m.

The women had lit a large papier-mache decoration, attaching it to a roof beam, creating a flourish and creating a topiary of sorts. The decorations, which were advertised as “World of Terror” by an ad company, were lit by the outside lighting of a nearby window.

“It looks like a scene from someone’s horror movie. It just got out of control,” a witness told ABC News.

The women appeared to be unconscious, and many were confused as to where they were, but after a short time, an answer came.

The light was off and the women were lying flat on the ground.

Police and the New Jersey Transit Police responded to the scene, as the women were transported out of the area in a police truck, ABC reported.

Officials are currently investigating the incident, and no arrests have been made.
